SPORTS DAY Friday 3rd July 2015
On Friday 3rd July we held our
annual sports day.
Key Stage 2 took place in the morning. There were lots of
team races that included creepy crawly, water bomb, slow bike, sack, egg and
spoon and hurdles race as well as plenty of individual races: 80m, 100m, 200m,
300m and 400m. Each child competed in a minimum of two events to a high
standard, having great fun and showing fantastic sportsmanship. It was a
pleasure for us to see the children thoroughly enjoying the morning. The
competition was fiercely contested with
Oxburgh winning the Sports Day for the second successive year.
The lower school
sports day took place in the afternoon. All the children took part in a running
race, sack race and an egg and spoon race, once again showing great
sportsmanship and skills, with Blickling taking the title.
Many thanks to all
the parents/careers and families that
supported this day, the turnout was fantastic!
