On Wednesday 23rd October, we were fortunate
enough to have a member of the Royal family in school. King Hal (Henry VIII) came to school for the
day to work with classes O4/5, SK5, D6 and E6.
King Hal shared with us lots of information about the lives
and times of the Tudors. He played musical instruments from the period, explained
why people would be placed in the stocks and even led us through a Grand Jousting
Tournament!
Lots of children and staff dressed up in costume which added to the experience.
We all had a fantastic time with King Hal and have learnt so much from the day.
